Social media

A monthly content plan that actually works

Most accounts post a lot and sell little. The problem isn't volume — it's the mix.

Most accounts we audit post constantly and still don't sell. The issue isn't volume — it's that every post says the same thing: "buy from us".

The 4–3–2–1 rule

Split your monthly content like this:

- 4 value posts: teach your audience something useful without selling.

- 3 trust posts: testimonials, behind the scenes, credentials, numbers.

- 2 engagement posts: a question, a poll, something that invites a reply.

- 1 direct sales post: the offer, the product, a clear call to action.

That single sales post will outperform ten sales posts, because everything before it built the trust.

Right content per platform

The common mistake is making one design and pushing it everywhere. Each platform runs on different logic:

- Instagram: visual craft matters most, and Reels drive reach.

- TikTok: the first three seconds decide everything. Open with the result or a sharp question.

- LinkedIn: the writing outweighs the image, and honest stories beat achievements.

- Facebook: still the strongest for older demographics and local community groups.

Timing matters less than you think

People burn hours hunting for the "best time to post". In reality platforms distribute good content whenever it's published. Fix your first three seconds and your substance before you worry about the clock.

Measure the right thing

Follower count isn't a metric. What matters:

- Saves and shares — the strongest signal that content is genuinely useful.

- DMs and site visits — real purchase intent.

- Video completion rate — tells you whether the script is working.

The takeaway

Post less, and give every post a defined job in the plan. Twelve deliberate posts beat thirty random ones.
